The Mixed Living Center – Daily Care Activity & Training for Disabled People “Spring Children” in Alexandria implements the program with code MIS 5001651, within the program of Central Macedonia, which is implemented with the co-financing from the European Social Fund.
Our Center provides services with careful preparation and scientific criteria, aimed at the best possible service to the beneficiaries. More specifically, the Mixed Living Center “Spring Children” provides it’s services to 30 adults with disabilities – mainly with mental retardation – from the region of Imathia.
The beneficiaries’ transportation to and from the Center, by own means of transport.
Their accommodation and food (snack).
The program of special education that is needed according to the needs of each disabled person, based on the individualized program of each beneficiary.
The provision of individual and / or group exercise.
Their training in self-care and learning of daily living activities.
Their participation in entertainment, culture and sports programs.
All of the above services aim to improve the beneficiaries’ life quality, creative employment and enhance their socialization and social inclusion.
The Center operates daily (except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) and provides services to the beneficiaries for eight hours including their free transportation.
